Poll Shows Fan Resistance To Attending Live Sporting Events

The Major League Baseball season opens this week, but a new poll is casting doubt on the attendance of paying fans.

Less than half of the respondents in the poll feel comfortable attending live sporting events due to the coronavirus pandemic. The poll was conducted by the Washington Post and the University of Maryland.

Returning fans will be facing a variety of COVID protocols and restrictions. This includes social distancing and mask wearing.
