Pope Leo has canonized seven new saints. The Pontiff unveiled their portraits Sunday at a mass at Saint Peter’s Square.

The new saints include a lay teacher from Papua New Guinea, a former satanist priest who reconverted to Christianity, an archbishop killed in the Armenian genocide, a Venezuelan doctor to the poor and three nuns who worked with the poor and sick.
