Utility companies have largely restored power to customers in Hidalgo County after an outage Tuesday afternoon.
AEP Texas was reporting over ten thousand outages at one point Tuesday, while nearly 14-hundred Magic Valley Electric Cooperative customers were affected. About 100 customers were still without power early this morning.
