Around one-dozen Texas school districts have voted to set aside time each day for students and staff to pray. And, while that’s a small number, experts say it only tells part of the story.
Mary Elizabeth Castle with Texas Values says that some districts that voted no did so because they already have prayer time in clubs. The deadline to approve the new plan was March 1st.
