President Trump is welcoming what he calls the “historic dawn of a new Middle East.”
Trump addressed the Israeli Parliament today following the release of all remaining hostages held by Hamas since the October 7th, 2023 attacks. He said generations from now, this day will be looked back on as the moment that “things began to change.”
His remarks were briefly interrupted by a protester who was quickly escorted out of the hall by security in a move Trump quipped was “efficient.” He’s set to travel to Egypt next to take part in an international peace summit as Israel prepares to hand over roughly two-thousand detained Palestinians as part of the U.S.-negotiated agreement.
