A University of Texas at San Antonio professor is on paid administrative leave following his arrest on Tuesday at the main campus.
The Justice Department says Zaid Mashhour Haddad faces one count of possession of child pornography and another count of accessing child porn with intent to view it.
In 2021, authorities served a search warrant at Haddad’s apartment, where he was reportedly viewing child sexual abuse material. No word as to why Haddad was arrested nearly four years later.
