Protest Over Unaccompanied Minors To Be Held In Brownsville

A protest over the number of unaccompanied minors who are crossing the border into Texas will be held later this week in Brownsville. The protest will be held at Linear Park on Thursday at 11 a.m.

A statement from the group says 35-thousand unaccompanied children will have crossed the border by June and that the situation at the border is a human tragedy.

The statement urges people of good conscience to protest the situation in hopes of keeping those children safe from crimes such as sex trafficking.
