A special session of the Texas legislature ends on Friday, but republicans are not giving up on their plan to redraw congressional boundaries as a way to create a handful of GOP-friendly districts.

House Speaker Dustin Burrows says the governor has vowed to call as many special sessions as needed. Each one will cost the state more than one-million dollars when you factor in lawmaker pay, security and electricity for the Capitol Building.
