By Several candidates are in the running for the position of Harris County Judge after Lina Hidalgo announced she won’t seek re-election.
The two Democrats in the race are former Houston Mayor Annise Parker and City Council member Letitia Plummer.
On the Republican side, the candidates are former Harris County Treasurer Orlando Sanchez, firefighters union leader Marty Lancton, and Piney Point Village Mayor Aliza Dutt. The election will be in 2026.
