State Representative Erin Gamez is joining House Democrats in their efforts to speak up against proposed redistricting. She and other state legislators met with New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to discuss President Trump’s push to redraw Texas’ congressional districts.
Gamez says redistricting could affect the voices of the Rio Grande Valley. Maps are redrawn every ten years after the census is taken.
