More than four-out-of-ten Americans live where the air is polluted. That’s according to the American Lung Association’s annual State of the Air report. This means over 135-million Americans are breathing polluted air.

The report found that people of color were over 60-percent more likely than white people to live in a county with unhealthy air. It also said climate change exacerbates air pollution.
