By Police are investigating a reported bomb threat and attempted arson that led to the evacuation of a restaurant over the weekend.
Officers responded around 12:15 a.m. Sunday to the Chacho’s on Perrin Beitel near North Loop 410. Firefighters extinguished a small fire at the scene that they say had been started with an “incendiary device.”
The suspect is believed to be a disgruntled former employee who was seen running away from the scene. As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made.
