Three men are recovering after an alleged case of road rage led to a shooting in Harlingen. Cameron County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the corner of FM-508 and FM-509 on Tuesday morning.
Investigators say 38-year-old Octavio Sanchez of Rio Hondo was beaten during a confrontation with Roel and Tristan Benitez. Sanchez told deputies he shot both brothers in self-defense during the alleged assault. The case is still under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
