A growing number of self-driving taxis in Texas are creating new headaches. Waymo’s cars have been spotted parking on residential streets for days at a time.
Expert Phil Koopman says this is not specific to Texas. It happens in every city where Waymo operates.
The company says in a statement that they only use “publicly available parking spaces” between trips as to not “add to congestion.”
