Round Rock Schools May Loosen Face Mask Rules

The Round Rock School District is considering possibly loosening the face mask requirement for students. KXAN reported that school board member Danielle Weston says the mask requirement indoors may soon be dropped for students under the age of ten. She says the requirement could also be dropped for everyone when they are outdoors.

Weston says state health and education officials recommend indoor mask wearing when social distancing isn’t possible, but students are still being required to wear them indoors and outdoors even if they are alone or isolated from others.
