Two city commissioners have been chosen in Mercedes. In yesterday’s runoff election, Jacob Howell won Place 1 on the City Commission against Melissa Rincon.
Joe Martinez took Place 3, defeating David Garza. Results remain unofficial until canvassed by the Mercedes City Commission.
