Russian spy planes are being spotted more often near Alaska, catching the eye of the military. Congressman Tony Gonzales saw it first hand during a recent visit.

The San Antonio republican says that, each time, fighter jets were scrambled to monitor the potential spy planes. NORAD said in a statement that the Russian aircraft never entered U.S. or Canadian sovereign territory. Instead, they were in an international zone off Alaska.
