Salinas Hired To Be New Edinburg Schools Superintendent


A new superintendent is in place in the Edinburg School District. Edinburg school trustees this week gave their unanimous approval to promoting Dr. Mario Salinas to oversee the school district.

Salinas was the assistant superintendent for support services before he was named the sole finalist for the position last last month. Salinas has 35 years with the Edinburg CISD as a teacher, coach, principal, and administrator.
