A second special session of the Texas legislature continues to expand as the governor adds more items to the list up for debate. The latest, added this week, would ban same-day voter registration. He says it opens the door to voter fraud.
The governor has been open about his use of special sessions to drive a conservative narrative. And, so far, he has not closed the door on a third this year.
