San Antonio Asks For Dismissal Of Lawsuit Targeting Reproductive Justice Fund

0

San Antonio’s legal team is asking for the dismissal of a lawsuit over the city’s Reproductive Justice Fund. Pro-life groups sued the city in October, shortly after City Council created the half-million-dollar fund.

The San Antonio Family Association and Texas Right to Life say the fund is meant to pay the travel costs of women who want to go to other states for abortions. On Thursday, city attorneys asked for the lawsuit to be tossed out because there’s been no decision yet as to what the fund will pay for.
