A San Juan man has been sentenced to five years in prison for his role in a deadly crash in Pharr. Twenty-one-year-old Raul Axel Gonzalez pleaded guilty to a charge of causing an accident involving death and was sentenced on Friday.
The body of Rodolfo Trevino was found along Interstate Two on July 8th, 2023. Investigators used debris from the crash site, surveillance footage and an anonymous tip to tie Gonzalez to the crash.
