School Accountability Backed

Texas business leaders are backing big changes to public education that include the newly-released district A-through-F scores, which have been delayed for years.

Glenn Hamer with the Texas Association of Business says, if we’re going to spend 85 billion dollars on public education then there needs to be accountability. Rankings, he says, should not include extracurricular activities. It should focus on academics.
