More than 100-thousand Texas families have signed up for a new private school voucher program. Governor Greg Abbott says that demand is so strong that he would like to see it expanded.
The program gives parents greater flexibility in choosing the best education for their child. Those selected in a lottery will be able to pull their kid from public school and use their tax dollars to send them to a private school.
