Trial has been set for next week for a second former teacher accused of sexually assaulting a female student in the Santa Rosa school district.
27-year-old Isaac Flores will stand trial November 15th on charges of child sexual assault, indecency with a child, and improper relationship between educator and student.
Flores is alleged to have smoked marijuana with and sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl. He was arrested, along with a fellow Santa Rosa ISD teacher, Josue Cepeda, in May of 2019.
The 37-year-old Cepeda was about to go on trial this past September on similar charges involving another 16-year-old girl when he pleaded guilty. Cepeda was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
