By Senator Cory Booker is criticizing President Trump’s handling of Iran. The New Jersey Democrat told CNN’s “State of the Union” the president has gotten the U.S. into a situation that’s worse than it was before.
Booker argued that Iran didn’t have enriched uranium before Trump’s first term, but now they have it because of him. He also claimed the deal the U.S. is reportedly close to making with Iran would give Iran more money to fund their terrorist proxies.
Booker went on to say Iran has put America in a stalemate and the president “has been played as a fool.”
