Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is again urging both the United States and Canadian governments to reopen the border between the two countries.

During a visit to Buffalo, he suggested officials come up with a plan that would allow people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 to cross the border. Schumer has said the ongoing shutdown is hurting New York’s economy. The border is expected to remain closed until at least June 21st.
