The Sharyland school district will ask voters to approve a 250-million-dollar bond to fund school improvements, technology purchases and a new aquatics center.
The district’s board approved the bond election during a special meeting earlier this week. Most of the bond money would go toward campus renovations and safety and security improvements. Thirty-five million dollars would go toward a new aquatics center, with about six million set aside for technology devices. The special election will be held in May.
