Six men are facing charges after an undercover sex sting operation in South Texas. The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas announced the arrests on Friday.
Undercover officers reportedly let the suspects believe they were talking to a 16-year-old girl on several social media platforms. The men allegedly arranged a time and place to meet the underage girl and were arrested by law enforcement.
They’ve been charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor and could face a sentence of ten years to life in prison if convicted.
