Six States Leading Rise In COVID Cases

As winter approaches, COVID is on the rise again and the worst cases are reported to be in six states.  They are Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois and New York.  There are growing concerns about the new Omicron [[ ahm-ih-cron ]] variant, but the Delta strain continues to pose the greatest threat.  During a briefing this week, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said the best protection against COVID continues to be full vaccinations and booster shots.
