The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a small plane crash in Louisiana that killed three Houston-area residents on Tuesday.

Lafayette Parish deputies responded around 11 a.m. to the reported plane crash in a field on Gloria Switch Road at State Highway 93. All three occupants of the twin-engine Beechcraft Baron were pronounced dead at the scene. They’ve been identified as Lydia Laws of Spring, and Bruce Verduyn and Justin Ramsey, both of The Woodlands. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
