A Weslaco man has been arrested by federal investigators for allegedly sharing child sexual abuse material online. Roel Flores, Junior was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
Federal agents executed a search warrant at Flores’ home and found an open laptop downloading sexual abuse material. Investigators say an IP address traced to Flores shared over two-thousand sexually-explicit files.
Flores was an employee of the South Texas Independent School District at the time of his arrest. He will be held in federal custody until his next court appearance on Tuesday.
