By The South Texas Independent School District has picked its next superintendent. The school board named Sandra Garza Ochoa as the sole finalist for the position on Tuesday.
Ochoa has served as the superintendent of the Edcouch-Elsa school district since last year. The board plans to vote on a contract offer for Ochoa on April 29th.
