SpaceX is planning to launch the 11th test flight of its Starship prototype later today. The launch window at the Starbase facility in South Texas is set to open at 6:15 p.m.
SpaceX plans to test the release of a payload during the flight while also attempting to relight one of the vehicle’s Raptor engines. The company also wants to test a new engine configuration during its landing burn.
SpaceX released a statement yesterday saying weather conditions are expected to be 80-percent favorable during the launch window.
