By South Texas College is being recognized for serving the needs of Hispanic students. Washington Monthly recently named STC the best two-year Hispanic-serving institution in the U.S.
The student body at South Texas College is 95 percent Hispanic. Washington Monthly also ranked the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley second on its list of four-year Hispanic-serving colleges.
