Kentucky State University is canceling classes for the rest of the semester following a deadly shooting on campus. One student was killed and another injured on Tuesday in what’s believed to have been an isolated incident.

The Frankfort Police Department says a suspect is in custody. He’s identified as an Indiana man who does not attend KSU. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is asking for prayers for “all those affected” by what the university’s president calls a “senseless tragedy.”
