By A coalition of nearly 160 Texas summer camps is warning that operations may be canceled due to safety requirements passed after last year’s deadly flooding.
State Rep Wes Virdell, who represents the area, blasted his fellow lawmakers for mandating high-speed internet service when the infrastructure isn’t there. The Department of State Health Services is set to release specific requirements by early February, along with a schedule for camps.
