The Supreme Court will weigh in on a controversial Mississippi law that bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Justices will hear the case this fall in a move that potentially puts the newly conservative court on a collision course with the Roe v. Wade decision. It’s the first law to reach the court from a series of state laws intended to challenge the landmark 1973 ruling which made abortion a constitutional right.
