State Representative James Talarico is reportedly off to a record-breaking fundraising start in his campaign for US Senate. Talarico’s campaign announced on Wednesday that he’s raised six-point-two million dollars in the three weeks since he announced his candidacy.

Former US Representative Colin Allred, also running in the Democratic Senate primary, announced he’d raised four-point-one million dollars in three months. Talarico’s campaign says no other Senate candidate of either party in Texas history has raised more in the first quarter of his campaign.
