TEA Apologizes For STAAR Glitch


Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath is apologizing for last week’s glitch involving the STAAR exam. Morath told the State Board of Education today he should be blamed for the issue which kept students from completing the test.

Texas is still working on guidance for local school districts regarding federal cash allotment from coronavirus relief packages. Morath says he expects to learn more from Washington, D.C. in the near future.
