A teen is dead following a crash Tuesday in Los Fresnos. The Texas Department of Public Safety says a black Ford Ranger was traveling east on State Highway 100 when the driver lost control around 12:30 p.m. near Old Port Isabel Road. Seventeen-year-old Angel Flores died in the crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but preliminary reports indicate that speed was a factor.
