Texas Among Five States In HHS Pilot Program Of Virus Test Used By NBA


Texas is one of five states that are now getting the same coronavirus test used by the NBA. The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a pilot program that also includes Florida, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Alaska.

The test uses a nasal swab and produces results in 20 minutes. It’s said to be more accurate than antigen tests. The same test was given to basketball players to finish the season.
