Texas Health Officials Confirm 1st Measles Case In Tarrant County

Health officials confirmed the first cases of measles in Tarrant County. Officials say the exposure happened at Methodist Mansfield Emergency Room between 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th. Tarrant County Public Health says the cases involve an unvaccinated adult and child from the same household. Public health officials are still unsure of where the two contracted the measles.

Officials are warning anyone who visited the Methodist Mansfield Emergency Room on those dates to monitor for measles symptoms and contact their healthcare provider.
