Texas Makes Alcohol To Go Rule Permanent


A rule change that allowed Texas restaurants to sell alcohol-to-go during covid is now permanent. The new law was signed today by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

The move to allow to-go sales of liquor, beer and wine proved to be an important economic change during the pandemic. In a statement, the Texas Restaurant Association says it saved thousands of jobs.
