By A Texas Democrat’s latest attempt to impeach President Trump was shot down in the U.S. House yesterday. Over 100 Democrats joined with Republicans to vote against the proposal made by Houston-area Congressman Al Green.
Green accuses the president of failing to notify or seek authorization from Congress before the U.S. launched strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend. His resolution alleged “abuse of presidential powers by disregarding the separation of powers.” Green has introduced impeachment articles against the president numerous times, most recently just last month.
