Travis County Flies Rainbow Flag

Travis County now officially displays the LGBTQ+ rainbow flag. KEYE reports that Travis County Commissioners voted unanimously yesterday to fly the rainbow flag.

The flag is flying at the county administration office building on Seventh Street and Lavaca in downtown Austin. The flag display happens now in recognition of National Pride Month on what is left of the month of June.

The commissioners also approved the flag to fly during Travis County Pride Month which happens in August.
