Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says President Biden’s coronavirus relief bill will fuel a strong economic recovery. Yellen believes it will help Americans make it through the pandemic and predicts it will boost employment levels back to normal by next year. Yellen says this package will help revive our economy, but noted that the Biden administration will eventually need to turn to recovery and address rising inequalities.

A new version of the bill passed in the Senate over the weekend and it will provide funding for vaccine distribution, school reopenings, direct relief payments and it will extend unemployment benefits until September.
