Two brothers accused of killing their stepfather in Hidalgo County in 2022 now have a trial date. The trial of Christian and Alejandro Trevino has been set for October 27th.
The two brothers were arrested after the body of 43-year-old Gabriel Quintanilla was found in a field in McAllen three years ago. Investigators believe the brothers and one of their friends beat Quintanilla multiple times on the day he died.
Alejandro Trevino is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, while Christian Trevino is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.
