A former teacher will be tried next month on charges that he had an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Former Rivera Early College High School girls’ basketball coach Julio Ricardo Trujillo was arrested in May. Investigators claim Trujillo met with a female student at least three times, including an April encounter inside a classroom.
Trujillo pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this week and will be tried on October 27th.
