President Trump is endorsing former Major League Baseball player Mark Teixeira’s campaign to represent Texas in the US Congress. Teixeira is challenging Republican Congressman Chip Roy in the state’s 21st Congressional District.
Trump shared his support for Teixeira in a post on Truth Social that stated the MLB All-Star will “work hard to grow our economy, cut taxes and regulations,” and align with other administration efforts. Teixeira thanked the president for his support and said he’ll work to “keep America safe and prosperous.”
