Two Sentenced For Child Sexual Abuse, Child Pornography

Two South Texas residents are going to prison after admitting to long-term sexual abuse of a child and producing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas announced the sentences of Luis Huerta and Jessica Gutierrez earlier this week. Investigators accused the couple of sexually assaulting a seven-year-old victim over three years, and recording photos and videos of the assaults.

Both entered guilty pleas in the case last year. Huerta will serve a 30-year sentence, while Gutierrez will serve a 28-year sentence.
